The Village Cafe was opened in November of 2008 as a small cafe and gallery for local artists. Over the years it turned into a essential establishment for the Bryan's local art scene as well as a crucial part of the Bryan's community fabric. Their producers includes Wise Family Farms, Royalty Pecans, Scarmardo Produce, Whats the Buzz Coffee, Howdy Farms, Blackwater Draw Brewery, New Republic Brewery, and Jimmy Bobby's Sausage Co. They adore their producer and use them to make delightful Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Their dinner includes dishes like Butternut Squash Lasagna, Pork Stuffed Bell Pepper, Chipotle Chicken Chorizo, Bella Nonna, Pasta De Pesto, Meatless Loaf, the TBA and a variety of Pizzas.
For those looking to spice up their vacation with local activities the Village Cafe hosts community events weekly. Every Thursday at 7pm they host Singer Songwriter Night for Local musicians and those who love live music. Saturdays from 10 pm to 2 am there is salsa dancing at the Village. The third Thursday of each month they host "Art Step" which features The Village's newest Artist and their work on the walls. The first Friday of every month combines all things good about the Village including made-from-scratch dinner specials, live music, new gallery art, great wine and Texas Craft Beer.
