The unique design of Abigaile's Treehouse, originally built as "Alice's Wonderland", has its roots in an architectural student's design project back in the 1970s. The first design project for the student, "Alice", was designing a vertical volume, with public spaces below, and a private area with a large water element.
Twenty years later, Alice would blow the dust off the blueprints and breathe life into the project, turning it into a home for her family. Utilizing the large trees and low drainage areas on the property, she was able to take a lot previously considered "unusable", and create one of the most unique properties in Brazos County. The lush gardens, "bamboo forest", majestic oaks, and exotic flora make our property a garden oasis in the midst of an urban neighborhood.

In 2008 it was time to move on, and "Alice's Wonderland" became "Abigaile's Treehouse" when it became a guest house for travelers seeking a unique, secluded stay in Bryan/College Station. We love the legacy and atmosphere of the Treehouse, and we know you will too - we look forward to hosting you soon!
